About Andrew Greeley
Andrew M. Greeley was ABC’s on-site consultant in Rome during the papal conclave. A priest,
distinguished sociologist, and author, he is known for his bestselling novels and for nonfiction books
on Catholicism, including THE CATHOLIC REVOLUTION: NEW WINE, OLD WINESKINS and THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL
and THE CATHOLIC IMAGINATION. He is a professor of social sciences at the University of Chicago and the
University of Arizona, as well as a research associate at the National Opinion Research Center at the
University of Chicago.
