About Imad Rahman

Imad Rahman grew up in Karachi, Pakistan and moved to the United States to go to college in 1989. He has an M.A. from Ohio University and an M.F.A. from the University of Florida, and he was the 2001-2002 James C. McCreight Fiction Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His stories have appeared in Gulf Coast, One Story, Chelsea, Bridge, The Sonora Review and The Madison Review. He has worked and collected material as a bartender, dogwalker, furniture mover, copywriter, graduate student, and Creative Writing instructor. He lives in Madison for the moment.
