Two-Book Thriller Deal at Morrow

Thriller author Anthony Lee has been signed by Claire Wachtel at Morrow for two new thrillers, the first is to be called “Martin Quinn,” and it’s a contemporary tale set in New York.

The six-figure deal, for North American rights, was made with agent Nat Sobel at Sobel Weber Associates, who says the author is regarded at Morrow as a promising newcomer in the tradition of the house’s bestselling Dennis Lehane.

Sobel adds that British publishers are about to get a look at the manuscript, and that it will be among his featured offers at Frankfurt.

Wachtel will publish “Quinn” early next year.
