About Raymond Moody and Paul Perry
Dr. Raymond Moody is a scholar, lecturer, author, and researcher. He coined the phrase "near-death experience" in his groundbreaking book, LIFE AFTER LIFE, an international bestseller that has sold over 14 million copies worldwide. He is the author of eleven books, including his most recent title, LIFE AFTER LOSS. Dr. Moody has appeared numerous times on local and nationally syndicated television programs, including Today and Oprah. In addition to conducting ongoing research into the paranormal, Moody trains doctors, nurses, hospice workers, and others in all aspects of his work.

Paul Perry has co-written the international bestsellers CLOSER TO THE LIGHT with Dr. Melvin Morse (Villard Books), a study of children who have had near-death experiences; and SAVED BY THE LIGHT (HarperCollins), the story of Dannion Brinkley, who was struck by lightning and cardiac arrested for 27 minutes, during which he had a profound near-death experience. The book was made into one of TV’s most viewed movies by FOX-TV.
Perry has written three books with Dr. Raymond Moody, including THE LIGHT BEYOND (Bantam), COMING BACK (Bantam), and REUNIONS (HarperCollins), each of which has been published in more than a dozen countries.
Perry is also the author of JESUS IN EGYPT (Ballantine Books), which is the basis for a documentary film currently airing on television. In addition, he is producing and directing the documentary film, EVIDENCE OF THE AFTERLIFE.
