About Tom Franklin
Tom Franklin is the author of three books. POACHERS, a novella and stories, and the novels HELL AT THE BREECH and SMONK were all published by William Morrow. His stories and essays have appeared in Georgia Review, Black Warrior Review, and Oxford American. His work has been reprinted in NEW STORIES FROM THE SOUTH, BEST AMERICAN MYSTERY STORIES and, forthcoming, BEST AMERICAN NOIR STORIES OF THE CENTURY. He lives in Oxford, Mississippi, and teaches creative writing at the University of Mississippi.
