L.A. Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction.
Tom Franklin’s
CROOKED LETTER, CROOKED LETTER won this year’s
L.A. Times Book Prize for Best Mystery and the Willie Morris Award for Southern Fiction. It was also nominated for the Mystery Writers of America 2011 Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best Novel, and it has been shortlisted for the UK’s Crime Writers’ Association’s Golden Dagger Award to be announced in October.
Hilary Davidson has won both the Crimespree and Anthony Awards for Best First Novel, awarded at Bouchercon, for her novel THE DAMAGE DONE.
